Sarah may have only been with us for a few months but here she talks about her highlights since joining the Poppy PR team…
Before taking on the role of account manager at Poppy PR I had been working as a local newspaper journalist for around ten years, the majority of that time was with the same company and I started to feel a bit like part of the furniture. I needed a new challenge, and moving into the world of PR has certainly been a refreshing change. No two days are the same – one day we could be helping one of our clients at an event, the next working on an exclusive story.
My main highlight in the four months I have been here has been meeting lots of new people in the business world and being given the opportunity to take my career in a new direction.
I already knew of Poppy PR before I joined the fold and so knew that the company had a good reputation and an excellent relationship with media contacts. There are exciting times ahead as the team look ahead to 2017.
