Katie is a globe-trotting marketing guru, columnist and lecturer. She is an expert in social media and video production.
After graduating from university, Katie moved to the Middle East where she represented some of the world’s most iconic hotel brands globally. She relocated back to the UK in 2020 when she founded Katie King & Co., a creative marketing consultancy.
Katie joined the Poppy PR team as a consultant in 2022 as well as supporting a collection of global hotel and lifestyle brands from the UK, UAE, Thailand and Qatar. In addition, Katie is a part-time lecturer in marketing at Nottingham Trent University and Leeds Beckett University and is an SME consultant to the European Union’s Regional Development Fund.
Katie also writes a lifestyle page in the Derbyshire Times and provides expert commentary for hospitality industry media.
